Guide2Travel is mainly a shared revenue publication.

Travel writers who already have an existing travel blog with Blogger may apply to guide2travel to have their articles transferred to a Column position on guide2travel. The guide2travel webmaster will provide blog set-up. When a columnist is approved, he or she will be provided with login information and instructions on how to continue adding articles.

Once the column has a minimum of 15 articles, writers may apply to Adsense for their own code to be added to their articles, if they don’t already have an Adsense account. Payment will be direct from Adsense to the columnist. Columnists receive 100% of the Adsense advertising revenue. No guarantees are made to writers regarding granting of an Adsense account or revenue they’ll earn from Adsense.

guide2travel retains the right to remove any columns it deems inappropriate, either due to content or construction.

Guide2travel occasionally purchases travel articles with photos. We purchase one-time rights for Internet publication on guide2travel.ca in perpetuity (no time limit). The copyright holder retains all rights in text and photos and may resell as they wish. Fees determined based on the individual story/photos.

Submit full articles (600 to 800 words) copied into the body of an email, along with re-sized, compressed images (minimum of 3 per article) for consideration to editors@guide2travel.ca

If your article is accepted, you will be required to provide high resolution images of at least 500 x 500 pixels. Photo credits must be included with each photo. If writers don’t own their own photos, they are responsible for acquiring reprint permission. Payment on receipt of article and photos that meet requirments.
