One day one of the ferry’s lost the hydraulics or something so that the big rear ramp crashed down into the sea. The ferry had to back the rest of the way to Loutro and then be hauled into dock. They had a heck of a time, getting it up again and then spent most of one night fixing it. The other ferry couldn’t get in to load up people, so a couple of trips were cancelled.
It must be nice to just hose off all of your tables, floors, etc and start fresh and clean for the day. You can water your flowers at the same time,
which leaves you more time to relax, and play backgammon….
