Coolidge Park and Carousel in Chattanooga, TN.

Coolidge Park and Carousel in Chattanooga, TN.

Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a great city to visit! There are attractions for every interest from the Chattanooga riverfront, which is what I mainly explored, to its world famous Chattanooga Choo-Choo.

One of the great things that I found as a visitor, though, is that all of the main attractions are served by a free downtown shuttle. So, you can hop on when you like, explore where you like, then get back to your starting point when you like. I didn’t have to worry about a rental car, or parking, or taxi fees. Who can ask for anything more?

Below, you’ll find a webquest based on a map of the shuttle’s route, so you can either learn some map reading skills by playing along, or get an idea of what tourist attractions you can see by taking Chattanooga’s free downtown shuttle.

To open the map in a large size in a new frame, so you can follow the mapquest, just click here: http://bit.ly/Y1wV4T. Note, you may have to click your mouse on the image to enlarge it when it opens in a new browser tab.

You can open the PDF question sheet in a new browser tab to simplify the mapquest at: http://bit.ly/WXcSlt.
