The colors of fall are about as stunning as you could ever want to see–well, at least in many parts of North America.

Here, in Saskatchewan, fall leaves are mostly just golds that fade to brown if the wind doesn’t rip them from the trees first!

While I’ve had a few chances to be a “leafer,” this year my hubby and I, in celebration of 40 years of marriage (yes, a very colorful time!) are heading to the east coast in search of the best fall leaves of 2013.

From September 27, until about October 18, I’ll be blogging daily photos of our search and updating everyone on our many exciting adventures.

To start off with, I’ll share some of the gorgeous leaves I’ve already seen on Friday Feature Photos, starting with Chattanooga and the Tennessee River Gorge–photos were taken aboard the new high-speed catamaran jet boat tour situated two blocks from Chattanooga’s Tennessee Aquarium.
