Located in the northern part of the main island, A’ali is the biggest town in Bahrain. The city is popular for its burial mounds of the ancient era. The mounds can be located throughout the central part of the city. Cultural artefacts that were found in the burial mounds are kept in the museum and are dedicated to the history of the mounds.
If you are a lover of handicraft, you should definitely visit this place, as here you can find pottery boutiques that are known for handicrafts prepared by the native people. One can also look for handicrafts in Al Jasra, which is situated on the western coast of the chief island of the country. In fact, Al Jasra is famous for the conventional handicraft center where the native craftsmen work on traditional arts and crafts including pottery and weaving. For relaxation, there is a garden in the middle of the center too.

Madinat Isa is another Town of Bahrain situated in the southwest of Manama. This city is the neighboring city of A’ali. The unique thing that you’ll witness here is the highest number of schools. This area in the country comprises of most number of schools, and there are upscale villas that coexist with schools.
Apart from the Persian market in the town, travelers can find almost all sorts of local food, carpets and other handicrafts. The aesthetic beauty of the place can soothe your eyes with the contemporary architecture of these establishments. The campus of the University of Bahrain is here and there are more than 450 shops here.
5. Enjoy the serenity of nature Al Budaiya

Riffa is situated in the center of main Bahrain. The place is the hub of century old historic heritage sites, including the 19th century Riffa Fort. The fort was built in archetypal Bahraini architecture, which is made of clay.
If you want to shop small gifts for your family and friends, then Riffa Bazaar and the Bukuwara Street Market are the best places to visit. Buy some souvenirs like craft or clothing items or small pottery objects here.
